Etisalat operates in 18 countries with a combined population of over 1.6 billion, some among which are UAE, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Egypt. Etisalat offers a range of innovative services to help the individual and the enterprise! In 1982, Etisalat was the first telecom operator in the region to introduce a mobile phone service, and was one of the early adopters of GSM technology, introducing it to customers in 1994. Since then it has established itself as a regional pioneer by introducing both 3G and MMS in 2003, and most recently, the Blackberry service in 2006. Mobile users enjoy the benefits of excellent voice and data applications such as WAP, GPRS, 3G, MMS, Push to Talk, Blackberry services and others. Since inception in 1976, Etisalat has been busy building the most advanced telecom infrastructure to extend your reach. We will continue to do so! Etisalat Misr is one of 18 service providers managed by Etisalat in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Etisalat currently has access to a potential market of over 1.6 billion subscribers and today Etisalat services over 74 million subscribers including the total number of fixed-line, Internet, mobile and television from each of its subsidiaries.
